Swarmed Client

Get your Telegram API ID and hash

Swarmed Client connects to Telegram with your own API credentials: a number called api_id and a key called api_hash. Telegram gives them out for free on my.telegram.org. It takes about five minutes and there is no review.

  1. Open my.telegram.org

Go to my.telegram.org on a computer or phone browser and enter your phone number in international format, for example +44 7700 900123.

  2. Enter the code

The confirmation code arrives as a message from Telegram inside the Telegram app, not by SMS. Type it on the site.

  3. Open API development tools

Click API development tools. If you have created an app before, your credentials are already shown there: skip to step 5.

  4. Fill in the form

App titleAny name, for example My Swarmed Client. Avoid the word “Telegram”.
Short name5 to 32 letters or digits, no spaces, for example myswarmedclient.
URLOptional. Leave it empty or enter https://client.swarmed.tools.
    PlatformDesktop
DescriptionOne sentence, for example Personal client for my work chats. Do not leave it empty.

    Then click Create application.

  5. Copy your credentials

Copy App api_id (a number) and App api_hash (32 letters and digits) and paste them into Swarmed Client when it asks for them.

Keep the api_hash private. Together with the api_id it identifies your app to Telegram. Never share it, and never share the login code from step 2 with anyone, including us.

If the site only says “ERROR”
